Centrally located just east of Portland's business core, the Doug Fir Lounge is the new music venue situated below the Doug Fir Restaurant, a full service restaurant and bar open 20 hours a day, 7am to 2:30am, seven days a week. Doug Fir is adjacent to the newly renovated, 85-room boutique hotel, The Jupiter.
Doug Fir Lounge is the first venue of its size in Portland that has been built from the ground up to house live music. Offering a state-of-the-art sound system, beautiful performance area and exceptional hospitality, Doug Fir Lounge delivers to Portland a world class restaurant and venue for bands, music lovers and gourmands alike.
Doug Fir is located on the northeast corner of The Jupiter Hotel property at the intersection of East Burnside Street and 9th Avenue. Centrally located on the most primary thoroughfare in Portland, we are less than a mile from the middle of downtown—just across the Willamette River and nine blocks east of the Burnside Bridge. Within just blocks of this location is Burnside's intersection with Sandy Boulevard to the east, MLK and Grand Avenues (Highway 99) to the west, as well as entrances and exits for Interstate 84, and its connection to Interstate 5.
Doug Fir is just ten blocks from The Oregon Convention Center, and about a half mile from the Rose Garden Arena and the Lloyd Center District. Public transportation is amply available along Burnside Street at all hours (TriMet no.20), and there is abundant, free street parking on the residential streets surrounding the property.
